PS Vita Not Ready By Christmas

PS VitaPS Vita will not be sold in the United States (U.S.) or Europe at Christmas time. Though many users who want to have it as a Christmas present.

The demand on these devices increased in nearly all the world. They’ll buy it when year end shopping season which is adjacent to at Christmas. Previous Sony promises that the launch will be phased PS Vita globally starting later this year.

Sony Corp. Executive Vice President Kazuo Hirai has stated that the PS Vita will go on sale in Japan later this year and early next year in the U.S. and Europe.

Hirai did not give an idea about the time delay, but he said that Sony wanted to prepare a solid game software offerings when it launched its hardware.

Hirai did not confirm a specific date for the launch of PS Vita. That means it is unclear whether a portable console with motion sensitive touch interface and will be ready to launch the Sony in the near future. Even in Japan alone can not clear whether PS Vita Christmas time already could be sold.

Hirai also explicitly denied that it would give a price cut for the PS Vita, Looking at the decision of its closest rival is Nintendo, which last week cut prices 3DS, less than half a year after its launch in order to increase sales.

“We package the device is properly and make it very affordable,” said Hirai.

“There is no need to lower the price just because someone else who happened to be in the video game business decided that they would lower their prices,” he concluded.

PS Vita will sell for USD249 in the U.S., and USD312 in Japan for the version of Wi-Fi. As for the version that has a cell phone service will be priced in the U.S. and USD299 and USD374 in Japan.
