Car Key Can Open with Sending SMS

Las Vegas – Oprah Winfrey does little to inspire, and sometimes the inspiration arising from watching the Oprah show was impressed. A security expert claims to have found a way to open the car doors are locked thousands just by sending an SMS after Oprah’s inspiring.


An American security consultant named Don Bailey with ISEC Partners recently gave a demonstration of hacking skills at the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas and hacking.

However, for security reasons, Bailey refused to disclose the brand and model of cars that are vulnerable in the plow by an informatics expert. But Bailey cautioned that the tricks he used to hijack the car can also be used to attack mobile phones, ATM machines and even industries such as water and electricity supplies.


“I do not care if I could open a car door. It’s cool. That’s sexy. But the same system could be used to control the telephone, electricity, traffic system. I think it’s a real threat,” said Beiley from the Daily Mail.

Even so, Bailey also explained that the car companies can protect their systems by buying more expensive components that though he realized that it would raise the price of the vehicle.


“We have to find an elegant way to find a balance between cost and safety,” he added.


The idea to find a gap in car security system, according to Bailey he had found on an episode of Oprah Winfrey. When the Oprah show an invention called the Zoombak, which can be used by parents to track their children.


Once he understood and studied the system at Zoombak, Bailey claimed to be expanding and taking control of a car.
